At present, Study Abroad can only issue agreements for students who are doing internships in their home country or remotely. To work full-time in the UK or abroad, your internship must start after the end of the summer semester and end before the start of the new academic year. For more information on finding international internships, check out the UCL Careers Global Internships program. An Internship Agreement is a tripartite agreement signed by the student, the home university and the host organization, which allows for a short-term internship. LSE Careers will contact your department directly to obtain permission, but it is recommended that you speak to your department as soon as possible so that they are aware of your intention. When your internship begins as soon as your program is over, LSE Careers will not need to obtain permission from the department. On this page you will find information on how to obtain an internship contract if the organization/company for which you wish to apply for an internship does not have a defined internship agreement.
